How to do selective color in photopea?

To do selective color in photopea, go to the right panel, Create a duplicate layer, Select the adjustment -> black & white and then click on the addraster maskicon and use thebrush tool`, and select color on the image. It will select the color of the image.

Today, I am going to show you how I do selective color photopea.

  • Go to the layer panel.
  • Choose a brush tool.

Let’s start with the first step.

Step 1: Insert images.

Open the photopea and Select photo, it will open a file browser or download folder you can select the image. And click the open button.

Step 2: Create a duplicate layer.

Go to the layers palette and click the mouse button on layer 1 and it will open the popup and then create a duplicate layer.

Step 3: Select the adjustment -> black & white

Go to image, click on adjustment -> black & white then open a dialog box.

Set black and white color, click OK button then your image will be black and white.

Step 4: Go to the layer panel.

Go to the right side of the photopea, select the layer then click on the add-raster-mask icon.

Set the color in the color box, Black and White. And do not select any color.

Step 5: Choose a brush tool.

Go to the toolbar and select the brush tool and click on the image then brush the image.

Here we have created selective color on the image.

When you follow the above steps then it will select the color image in photopea.
